Brightpath Community by Excelsior Consulting Services LLC
Product Overview · Excelsior Solutions Center

AI literacy and scam defense · adults 60+

The people AI targets most are taught about it least.

Seniors are the fastest-growing target for AI-enabled fraud, and the least served by AI education. Brightpath Community meets them where they are: libraries, senior centers, and Area Agencies on Aging, with no logins, no accounts, and nothing to install.

Module 2 · AI Scam Protection · available today as a facilitated workshop Walk-up kiosk platform · in development
Where the product stands today: Module 2, AI Scam Protection, is delivered now as a facilitator-led workshop with printed materials. The self-service kiosk platform and the remaining curriculum modules are in active development. We state this plainly because our clients fund programs with public money, and so do we.

Try a sample from Module 2

This is the heart of the curriculum: real scenarios, plain language, and a guide named Lumi who never rushes, never scolds, and reads everything aloud. Try one.

AI Scam Protection Sample lesson · audio available on every screen

Lumi: Let's practice together. Read this phone message and tell me what you think. There are no wrong answers here, only practice.

"Grandma, it's me. I'm in trouble and I need bail money tonight. Please don't tell Mom and Dad. Can you buy gift cards and read me the numbers? Please hurry."

Illustrative sample of curriculum content. In the full experience, Lumi reads every screen aloud.

A six-module curriculum, one urgent door-opener

The curriculum builds from confidence to competence. Module 2 leads deliberately: scam defense is the need every library director and AAA program officer already hears about from their community.

Coming to kiosk

Same module, self-service

The kiosk version in development lets patrons practice on their own: walk up, tap start, no account, session erased when they walk away.

In development

Everyday AI foundations

What AI is, where seniors already encounter it, and how to use it with confidence rather than fear.

In development

Practical life skills

Applying AI tools to daily needs: health questions, communication with family, and finding trustworthy information.

In development

Staying safe and connected

The remaining curriculum modules complete the arc from protection to participation. The full module lineup publishes with the kiosk platform.

Accessibility is the architecture, not a feature

Every design decision starts from the population being served. This page follows the same rules the product does.

WCAG AAA

The design target for the kiosk platform, beyond the AA standard most educational software stops at.

18pt+ text · 64px targets

Large type and oversized touch targets throughout, so hands and eyes of every age succeed on the first try.

Audio everywhere

Every instruction is available read aloud. Literacy level and eyesight are never the barrier.

No login. Ever.

Walk-up kiosk sessions use anonymous identifiers and erase when the patron walks away. No accounts, no passwords, no patron data collected.

Lumi

A warm firefly guide with one job: patience. Lumi never rushes, never scolds, and never lets a learner feel foolish.

Facilitator-ready

Workshop materials are designed for library and senior-center staff to deliver without a technical background.

Licensed per site, because that's how senior programs are funded

Libraries and Area Agencies on Aging cannot sustain per-patron software fees. One annual fee per physical location covers unlimited patron use.

Start here

Pilot workshop

A no-cost Module 2 workshop at one site, so the community response speaks before any contract does.

Tier 1

Single site

One branch, senior center, or program site. Flat annual license, unlimited patrons.

Tier 2

System

Library systems and multi-site AAAs, priced by site count with per-site cost declining at scale.

Tier 3

Enterprise and government

County and state aging-services deployments, healthcare co-branding, and train-the-trainer programs, scoped to the engagement.

Why per-site matters: a busy flagship branch and a small rural branch pay the same fee for the same platform. No patron counting, no per-person tracking, and nothing that penalizes the sites that need it most. Licensing quotes are provided at scoping and can align with grant funding cycles.
